Maud S. Mandel, Ph.D. is Dean of the College, and a Professor of History and Judaic Studies at Brown University. She has written extensively on Muslim and Jewish relations in France, with titles including In the Aftermath of Genocide: Armenians and Jews in 20th Century France and Muslims and Jews in France: History of a Conflict. As part of our tribute to the events of Kristallnacht, she will present on contemporary Judeo-Muslim relation in contemporary France. Her forthcoming work, Colonialism and the Jews is set to be released in 2017.
