Join us as we welcome Ruth Broyde Sharone, renowned Jewish interfaith leader, journalist, and filmmaker, upon her return to Manhattan College. She is perhaps best known for her award-winning film GOD AND ALLAH NEED TO TALK, which has been screened at college campuses across the U.S. (including MC). This time, she joins us with the Peace and Healing Quilt, assembled by 72 Israeli and Palestinian women. MC is just another stop on this quilts long itinerary, having already been to the Peace Pentagon in Virginia, the North American Interfaith Network Conference in Guadalajara, Mexico, and most recently, the U.N. Chapel in New York to commemorate the United Nations International Day of Peace.
